The class

AI training that ends with a working system, not notes.

JamesTech LLC runs a half-day AI Operating System training class in Columbia, Maryland for owners and practice leaders of 5 to 200 person firms. You bring a laptop and one real workflow from your business. By 12:30 you have a basic AI Operating System built on Claude, tailored to your business, running on your own machine.

This is not a slide deck about AI. Six people, one instructor, hands on keyboards from the first ten minutes. Everyone leaves with it running, and the class comes with a guarantee: leave without a working system and the session is free.

It is taught by Mark Lucas, founder of JamesTech LLC. Roughly thirty years building on the Microsoft stack, three of them at Microsoft, 700 or so professionals trained at NASA, SSA, FAA, and Gannett, and an Artemis program contractor at NASA today.

The morning

How the four hours run.

  • 8:30. The teammate-or-stranger demo, live, on the instructor's own system. Ask any AI a question about your business and hear the difference. Then: by noon, yours does this.
  • 8:45. Round the room. Each owner names the one workflow they brought.
  • 9:00. Install. Claude on every machine, Windows and Mac, with the instructor walking the room.
  • 9:45. Business context. A structured interview turns into a context file the AI reads every session. This is the step that makes it yours.
  • 10:40. Connect the business. Documents in, first real answers out. Ask it something only your business would know.
  • 11:15. The daily brief. Each attendee stands up their first standing job.
  • 11:50. Automate the workflow you brought, or scope it live if it is too big for the hour.
  • 12:15. What is next, and questions. Hallway conversations after.
